Jonny Lee
'I'm passionate about taking people outside of their comfort zones and immersing them in breathtaking nature combined with fundraising. This will change not only your life but many others' too'.
No stranger to nature and adventure, founder Jonny Lee was brought up in the Peak District in the UK. He has since traveled around the world including living in Thailand and India (Himalayas). Since 1999 he has based himself on the culturally admired 'White Isle', Ibiza.
In 2010 Jonny launched the charity, Last Night A DJ Saved My Life (LNADJ). Using music as a tool for change, the charity supports causes around the globe and has made a difference to the lives of many children in crisis. Numerous challenges followed, providing LNADJ supporters with an opportunity to find adventure whilst raising funds at the same time.
Always on the lookout for pioneering opportunities and ideas, Jonny organised the charity’s ‘Ain't No Mountain High Enough’ campaign which broke the World Record for the highest ever DJ set and saw ambassador and house music pioneer, Nightmares on Wax playing a set at altitude. The record breaking climb raised over £70K, which funded the building of a home for 50 special needs children in Tanzania at the base of Kilimanjaro.
Through the work of LNADJ, Jonny has been inspired to launch Follow Your Heart Adventures, combining the areas he is most passionate about - adventure, music and practicing the art of giving, to create more bespoke challenges and adventures.
